Collection and storage of personal data and nature and purpose of its use

a) When visiting the website

Each time a client (or other visitor) accesses our website, information is automatically sent to the server of our website by the internet browser used by your device (computer, laptop, smartphone etc.). This information is temporarily stored in a logfile.

The following data is collected without any action on your part, and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • Location data, including location data of your mobile device. Please note that with most mobile devices, you can control or deactivate the use of location services in the settings menu of the mobile device.

Our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Section 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR to collect data is based on the following purposes: guaranteeing a smooth connection and comfortable website use, evaluating system security and stability and other administrative purposes.

Under no circumstances do we use the data collected to draw personal conclusions about you.

b) When using our contact form

If you have questions of any sort, we offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form available on the website. To contact us, the following minimum information is required: name and email, so that we know the source of the query and are be able to answer it. You are free to provide further information. Data for the purposes of contacting us is processed pursuant to Art. 6 Section 1, Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntary consent. The personal data collected by us for the contact form is automatically deleted after your query has been dealt with.

Disclosure of personal data

Your data will not be transmitted to third parties other than for the following specified purposes.

We shall only disclose your data to third parties, if:

  • you have given specific consent to this (Art. 6 Section 1 P. 1 lit. a GDPR),
  • it is required to fulfil contractual relationships with you (Art. 6 Section 1  1 lit. b GDPR),
  • there is a statutory obligation for disclosure (Art. 6 Section 1, lit. c GDPR),disclosure is required for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest warranting protection in not disclosing your data (Art. 6 Section 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR),

Our data protection regulations are in accordance with valid data protection regulations and the data is only processed in the Federal Republic of Germany / European Union. Data is not transmitted to and intended for third countries.

Rights of persons affected

We will willingly inform you on request if personal data related to yourself has been stored and what type of data this is (Art. 15 GDPR), particularly with regard to the processing purposes, the category of the personal data, the categories of recipient to whom your data was or is being disclosed, the planned duration of storage, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data, if this was not collected by us and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling.

You also have the right to correct any incorrectly collected personal data or to complete incompletely collected data (Art. 16 GDPR).

You also have the right to request that the processing of your data be restricted, if the statutory conditions for this exist (Art. 18 GDPR).

You have the right to retain the personal data relevant to you in a structured, current and machine readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another responsible party (Art 20 GDPR).

Moreover, you have the “right to be forgotten”, i.e. you can request that your personal data be deleted if the statutory conditions exist for this (Art. 17 GDPR).

Irrespective of this, your personal data will automatically be deleted by us, if the purpose of data collection no longer exists or the data processing is unlawful.

Pursuant to Art. 7 Section 3 GDPR, you have the right to revoke the consent you have granted to us at any time. The result of this will be that data which is based on this consent will not continue to be processed in the future.

You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time if there is statutory provision for this. In the event of an effective revocation, your personal data will also be automatically deleted by us (Art. 21 GDPR).
